Default car smoking

My car has been smoking for quite sometime now. It smokes when I crank it and also WOT ( normal driving and badly when I lay on it). I'm not quite sure what is causing it. The color of the smoke is blackish/grey smoke. I'm not really sure if its the PG7 ECU thats causing it (giving it too much fuel).

My car is an HF and I haven't got the chance to get my hands on a PM6, but recently b4 the PG7 I was using the stock HF PM5. But when I go back to install the PM5 car doesn't want to stay on. Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

Its a D16A6 w/PG7

How many miles on the engine, and how many miles on your Head gasket? You're burning oil there, and if it was gas it'd be black. If you happen to open your head, you'll prolly see **** all over your valves... make certain that this isn't the case before you start swapping electrical supplies.

my guess is that oil is getting past your piston rings and into the combustion chamber...how has your oil level been lately? Any slow leaks? Loss of oil could mean that this is the problem.

The miles on my motor is unknown. And the oil level has been fine (just got to put some in from the loss from the oil pan gasket) , theres no major oil burned or anything. And the only leaks i have is near the oil pan, and I think that needs a new gasket.
