Default Check if this turbo is any GOOD

I recently bidded on a Civic D16, D15 Ex,Lx,Dx Turbo & Manifold Kit from Ebay and I was wondering if the turbo thats comes with it matched good with D-series motor. I know the manifold aint the best but I plan on bracing it. Here are the spec on the turbo
SPECS:

.57 COMPRESSOR WHEEL TRIM

.60 A/R COMPRESSOR

.63 A/R TURBINE

And here is the picture of what I am getting for 623 Shipped.

that manifold is going to crack...most likely on your wastegate flange...boost creepage is terrible on that too...dont use that manifold..waste of time and money...my friends would creep from 7psi to 15psi...it truely sucks....

that turbo should be fine. If you're worried about the manifold cracking or whatever, just invest a few dollars in bracing. Don't believe all the internet racers, with some good bracing you could get some decent results from that manifold.

I think I got a good Deal, Just the turbo cost about 450 or something. My friends over at DRT have taken those manifold and fixed the Boost creep and braced the turbo for me. I justed wanted to know if that turbo was going to be too big for the sohc vtec motor cause it looks Big next to a Greddy turbo persay.

Just don't run as much boost as you would with a smaller turbo.

I have a del Sol Si too and am turboing it next week(hopefully). I'm gonna be running the greddy kit though.

that downpipe is junk. 2" junk. This must be what this kid brought me to install. The turbo he brought me has no exhaust flange. The one they supply is not even close on the setup he got. junk. The cat flange is like an inch too big for the DP. Is this form turbobuk@aol.com? the manifold will be the least of your problems.
