Its a 98 type SH, with no motor. how much would that go for. the body is in almost perfect cond. perfect stock leather interior. Cosmetically its as if it just came off the lot. Basically 98 type SH, no motor, 70K on chassis. Any estimates on a good price to buy it for?

 

junk yards usually charge $1500-$2300 with no motor.just for the shell

 

that all depends on what the car is worth to you. how much would a new engine for the sh cost? add that to the lowest you can get the guy to give it to you for and labor costs. If that seems like a good price then do it. some places let thigns go cheap, but others will charge you as much as they can.

 

hey, He's buyin it from a guy that owns a shop and is planning on putting a new motor in. But if he can get it cheaper by buying the car w/ everything besides the motor, he'd rather do that and buy his own engine and work on it while its out of the car. The guy is asking 13k if he put an engine in and then sells it but we're making a deal with him to buy it as is w/o the engine. After hearing that, any approx. costs?
