I heard somewhere that SCCA was changing the rule on replacing belts. Does anyone know if that's true. In conference they're good for 5 years from the date of manufacture. Someone at the track this weekend thought SCCA went to 2 years on belts. Anyone heard if that rumor is true??

 

I know it was discussed last year in a FastTrack. I do not know if it passed, but I have a feeling it did.

 

theyre considering it and recommend that they be replaced every 2 years, but nothing official yet.
