Default Just put a throttlebody and intake manifold on car..help!!

i have a 2000 civic si. i just purchased a 70mm bbk throttlebody, and a skunk 2 manifold. i had a friend put them on for me, but i had a few questions and problems. first of all, my car is running extremely rich. second, it likes to stall(ex..im driving, then i stop at a stop sign..it stalls or bogs down.) it also backfires heavily. next, my check engine light comes on every once in a while, so i turn off my car, and turn it back on(gets rid of it for a while).

now for the questions...
how can i fix any of these problems? on my BBK throttle body, there are 2 unused "nozzles" at the top (1 has a small port, 1 has a large port)..what are they for? my skunk 2 manifold has a coolant hole on the underside that splits into 2. there is a large 1 with a smaller one branching off...should i plug up the smaller 1? in the top of my stock manifold, there is a vacuum hose, on the skunk 2 there is not, so he tapped one in there..is that ok? last question...i went onto a few websites and they said that with the 70 mm throttlebody, i may have to do some modifications to the EGR or the intrak manifold...what do i do??

does any air come out of or into the two "nozzels" on the top of the throttle body. You may consider caping them off if they are not already...

I just installed a 62mm t/b and skunk2 intake mani on my D16. The only problem I'm having is high idle. I need to take it back and get the TPS messed with.

the bigger "nozzle" doesnt feel like anything is coming out or going in. the smaller one sucks in air very hard. i did cap that one. when its not capped, my car idles like crap and stalls.
