1st gen CRX question
DIYnet.com haha. There's next to nothing for the 1G's.
Uhh, clear corners/tails you'll either have to do yourself or mold some 2G lights or some lights from a totally different car. You'll need to know how to shape fiberglass to do that though, or be a really good welder/sheet metal shaper.... Or you could just make it ghetto with your Altezza's just hanging out. Jk, don't do that.
As far as performance goes, the best way to go is a motor swap or a D16A1 head swap. I know you don't want to hear that, but neither did I. But if you want to keep the EW-1, Weber carbs, Heddman headers, local exhaust shop, local machine shop, Gude makes a cam for the 85-87 CRX, but not the 84. Then all of the other tricks like ram air, make a dual carb intake mani, whatever.
As far as swaps go, the only direct swap is the D16A1, but if you go fuel injected, theres tons of work. Hasport and Place Racing make motor mount swaps to swap in a B series, and nobody that I know of makes one for the D series; I wish they would, cause I have a 130hp D15 just laying around....
Check out http://www.RedPepperRacing.com ; it is a site just for 1G CRXs and 3G Civics. Good luck with the car man.
