I just put a new crank pulley in and I was told an oil pump upgrade would be good to do...so I need help..

Do any other OEM oil pumps work with the DOHC ZC??
Anyone ever heard of shimming the oil pump to pump out more psi??

From what I heard that the zc oil pump is weak works but weak compared to other...thats why I want to upgrade to another pump if I can..b series would rock..

Back when I was building my LSVTEC, I considered shimming the oil pump I had at the time. After talking with lots of people, I was told that while, it works, its not quite as reliable. Sorry, I can't give specifics or be more helpful, but thats what everyone has told me.
