Who to cool down your JRSC????? cooling system?
I am trying to think of a easy way to cool down your supercharger... I dont wanna spend 1000USD+$ on a water cooler and I was told that the jackson water cooler is not ery good!
So im thinking of making a O2 cooler, basically the same thing as those No2 systems that spray on the intercooler, but instead place the nozzles on the JRSC manifold to frezz it?
You guys think this will work???

http://LHTPerformance.net you get what you pay for. You definately dont wanna spray sub zero O2 on a baking hot SC, it will prolly crack.

i was also thinking this.. welding tubes throught the manifold and spraying CO2 into the tubes.
but the lhtperformance one looks really sweet.

Welding tubes into the manifold would probably serve your purpose, but why not just spray a 55 shot in the filter and save yourself the pain and agravation of fabricating?

the new zex nitrous air amplifier would do the trick nicely

Thats what I wanna do, but a 55 shot is suicide. A 15 shot at most. However you would have to tune the motor perfectly, with such a volatile combination any misshaps could result in ugly reprocutions.

so spray nitrous to "cool" it down?
nitrous burns Hot it may cool the air in the intake but once its hits the cumbustion chamber its gonna make things hotter

if you do any shot of nitrous before the charger.. you still have to add fuel. and the cool air just gets reheated when its compressed.
It would probably take a day or two at the most to fabricate what i have in mind.

about the "co2 pipes" picture above....i dont think it will be that efficient....you really need some kind of core, like a heat exchanger. a couple of pipes wont provide enough surface area compared to a core like the LHT unit has. for best results, i'd say run freon through the LHT core...although it will take power to compress/pump the freon just like your A/C system would. just some thoughts...
Run alcohol/water injection. With such a short manifold the only way to get it to work right would be to either spray before the blower, which is not nearly as effective, or run several small nozzles on the manifold itself. 2 nozzles on the top, 2 on the bottom, and one on each side would give you very good atomization and good cooling.

Agreed. Get a Hondata S200 with the boost option and nitrous control and don't run more than a 15-20 shot. The prevailing wisdom is that the cooling effect from the small squirt of nitrous will have a much greater benefit than just the extra oxygen in the cylinders. Plus you won't be filling the giggle gas bottle all the time

umm I like the ides of spraying ontop and underneath the blower, but theres really not much room to spray under there!!
ill look more and try to figure something out!

We have tried so many things to cool down the charge from the blower.
One of the key things is surface area, The air is comming out the blower very fast so there is little time to cool it before it fills the cylinders.
NOS is the cheapest way to go and the easiest. As said you might want to use the smallest shot you can, I think the you can get 15 nozzles from NOS.
As I said , I have spent a lot of money and so much time building all kinds of cores before the new design. As you can see by my WHP this one works.
Good luck!

Like I said before, just spray a little nitrous in the filter and leave it alone. I wish you the best of luck out of you blower cause mine was a headache from the start. It is hard to tune anything force feeding it hot air.

how about something that uses the ac to cool it down, like in the new lightnings?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Got any pics/links?
