Default How to fix a bumper (the scratch is dented in) did a search

Well my dad has a 92 tercel beater that just drives 70 miles every day back and forth to keep the miles down on the other cars. Well I was wondering how do you fill in uneven plastic scrape like dent's. A truck backed into it and was never found. So how would I fill the bumper dent's in. I do have a power sander. But no air gun. So if I were to paint it would I sand it all down, use 222 and use dupli coat bumper cover paint or pactra paints then put a clear coat on top of it.

you can buy flexible body filler for bumper covers.
Just go to an auto body supplies place and tell them what you want to do.

the best thing to use would be plastic repair, but its a lot more expensive than bondo. sand down the plastic repair, use flexible primer, then adhesion promoter for the paint, then spray the paint.

Put a heat gun the the spot thats dented, bumpers are made to pretty much take back the original shape when heated up. Just heat it and massage it until you get it as close as you can to pre acident shape. If you get it pretty close to before the acident then you might be able to use primer to fill what ever improfections are left. If not then its off to the local auto body supplier for some plastice repair.
