Default weird idle when AC is on

when i turn my AC on, my car idles weird. It drops to like 200 rpm and sounds like its about to die, and then shoots right back up. It does this over and over. It only happens really bad when my AC is on. Any suggestions to this prob?

doe sit just happen once right when you turn the a/c on? or oes the idle keep randomly drop when the a/c is on? if it just drops once, thats normal.. . .

I think it could be a bad IACV. Take it off and give it a good clean.

i have this exact same problem! especially when its really hot out. turn the A/C on and my idle will bounce at least once every time i'm driving and i go back to idle. sometimes the low idle actually kills the engine.

it could be the EACV causing this??

no

it's parasitic power loss drawn from the engine. Your engine "needs" to produce more power to run the a/c compressor but cannot b/c you are idling. Hence you will see the RPMs drop for a slipt second then rise again when the engine compensates for power loss.
