Question for EG owners with harnesses
Ok. Posting a question for a friend. On a 1992-1995 Civic HB with Sparco Speed steats. Theowner of this car decided not to do any research on his own before changing his seats. As anyof you know who have done this, you will know now that he has no seat belts now. The question is: How did you mount the inboard seat belt buckle? (The one that stays attached to the seat). He used Sparco sliders and rails if that matters. Also he is planning on installing a set of Sparco harnesses (against my advice I might add as he has no roll bar) but the question for this reamins the same. Where would you mount the inside belt? The one that would be in the same spot as the factory one I asked about above? Anyone with any ideas here would be appreciated.

well I have a rollcage but you can just drill a hole through the hump where the other one was. Get under the car and a bolt through it with a nut on the other side, put some locktite and that should be good. Make sure to use some crazy hardcore bolts. I'm not saying this is the safest way adn I've never tested it in a crash (knock on wood), but the person that did my rollcage said he always does it that way. Although for me I have 4 other support points with the 5 point harness..
edit: hit the hole you drill with some spray paint to ward off rust.

I attached the pan from the bottom of the stock seat to the bottom of the racing seat. Then I cut a small hole for the bolt to go through in the material. I then attached the seatbelt clip and called it a day..
