boosted ?????

hey i have a d15 sol and i found a cheep turbo for , i want to boost the d15 and build my h23 for spring. The ? i have is how relible are turbo's in the winter, does anyone know, thanks.

it should be reliable. just look at all the turbo cars out there.

Make sure you do a compression test and such on your d15 to make sure you can handle the boost without blowing your motor.

Reliability is kind of dependent on your ability to install/tune the turbo... the reason all those turbo cars make it through the winter is because someone installed and tuned them properly...

Forget winter you can blow your engine to bits with a turbo ANYTIME of the year (incedentally summer would be worse as the higher temps would increase chances of detonatinon).
