When I was driving today, some smoke came out the steering wheel and I freaked out. I immediately pulled over popped the hood but their was no smoke, it was just where the steering wheel was. It doesn't smoke that bad when I'm going straight just when I turn. Does any one know what could be wrong with it? Any information will be greatly appreciated thanks

 

sounds like theres a short in the steering column somewhere

 

Everything behind the fuse panel is, well, is fused. Ha. I had a minor short for months in my Isuzu (speaker wire ), and I kept blowing my 60A main fuse. But a short would be the only thing causing smoke to come from under your dash.....

 

Gotta be a fuse Alex. Check your fuses tomorrow, see if one of them burned out. OR you can give me head?

welll only thing around the column would be the horn, or the ignition switch
