just wanted to let you guys kno to watch out,,i bought 2 fenders and a set of headlights for a 99 coupe,before i bought them i asked civc ex to send me some pics but they didnt come up so i asked him the condition of the fenders and lights and he said everything was in great condition,i think his words were something like one fender is mint and one has 1 dent in it,well i got the partys today and the headlights look ok so far,im worried they will leak tho, but one fender has 2 dents and a tear in the metal around the wheel well and the other fender is garbage, its smashed and also has the same tear in the meatal around the wheel well,so i contacted him and told him i want my $$ back for the fenders and he said to take it up with ups,,which i will try but, i doubt the ups ride ripped tears in the metal,,,,,,so watch out for thisprick theif

 

time to contact the police man. that sucks i know it wasnt ups fault i shipped fenders before and they were fine for the other person when they got them. hopefully you get your money back.

They both were not dented, and in structurally perfect condition when i sent them. There were a few scratches, is exactly what i told him.

 

i saw those fenders before they were shipped out... cause he bought them to put on his car... there was nothing at all wrong with them... i dont know what this joke is talking about....

i will watch out and make sure i dont buy anything from him good luck on UPS. only way they cover it is if they seen the parts and packed them up themselfs ifnot shipper is responsable for them.

Hey guys, Its always a risk buying from some one you dont know I understand this. I am not on of Bill's close buddies, and i will vouch for the condition of the fenders. I bought The Si lip from him that came from the same conversion your fenders and lights did. When i was picking it up I looked over the other peices and saw no such damage you described. I doubt the ups could cause metal damage like you described but i saw them a day before they where shipped and they had no such dammage. It sucks but i suggest contacting UPS.

 

i saw the fenders and didnt notice any "torn metal" lets see some slose ups of that. . .

 

I can vouch for the condition of the fenders and I dropped them off with mr. billy goat. Just file with UPS man... stuff gets damages all the time... dont blame billy hes a good person, and he clocks more broads than a high school track coach.

I've been over to Bill's house to see the conversion that he was going to put on his car and everything looked good. There were no such "tears" in anythring... the lights looked good, the lip and so on. Only thing i noticed were some minor blemish scratches.

alright just so ppl kno. i contacted ups and they said they would investigate it and if the believe it was their fault then they will send the $$ to this kid and its up to him to send it to me,as far as all your responses on his behalf,i aint in arizona and i never seen the fender before they left ther,you guys would react the same way if you got some fucked up parts that you paid $$ for,i dealt with many people on here buying and selling **** and nothing like this has ever happened,i dont go around making **** up,and i dont need to try to steal someone elses $$ and i dont want my $$ stolen either,

I have to disagree with you big time. I would react like you are if I didn't receive ANY product. If I received a damaged product, I would take it out with the shipping company. If they deny fault, THEN I'd contact the seller. I would only make a stupid-*** post like this as a LAST resort.

Did you try to contact the seller BEFORE you posted this? I assume not since all of these people came forward testifying for the seller and the condition of the fenders. If he was trying to "scam" you, he would most likely not be posting again.

Maybe you didn't get what i meant. I was trying to say that these fenders were a luxury item that you didn't really need but you wanted, and now you need $X (X is how much you payed for these fenders) so you damage the fenders, say its was coupe's fault, and get your money back so you can spend the $X on your house payment or the months cable bill.

lets be honest here: you contacted UPS AAAFTER we told you to do so. Why didn't you try that first? its only logical... What were you hoping to get out of this - destroying someone's rep on HT wont get you your money back by the way.

I've purchased many things without pictuers, but they were things like exhaust manifolds, or downpipes or intercooler piping - items, who's functionality doesn't depend on their appearance.

C man u go/ to far tho bro. 1st u started with that homo remark in ur first post witch kinda bothered me. But then u have to add your little comments about the bill for cable and what not. Man I just don't like u. I can vouch for dose as being a great friend as well as a trust worthy person.
Maybe he did jump the gun and didn't know how to react cuz he didn't get pictures. I would be a little suspecious about buying something w/out seeing the pics. Shipping company should have been the first person contacted though.
we all try to keep our rep's good around here on H-T. **** dose bought a ride from this board so I mean we all put trust in ea other and just expect most things to go about smooth .
