Need help finding a racing mechanics school...
Sup fellas,
Just wondering if you all knew of any good racing/racing mechanics schools that cater to teaching autoracing mechanics. This is the carreer I want and am serious. I know about the Jim Russell school and one or two others, but it seems that most of them train their students based on IRL and the likes of those types of racing. Thanks in advance and happy modding/racing/kicking ****.

i went to universal technical institue..but that was around 1994..it sucked then..im sure it sux now..best way is to apprentice..offer to do the shitty jobs..like sweep up and wash dishes(parts)..once they see you have work ethic..they are more willing to take the time to teach you...if you dont know the basics of engines..i would suggest a vocational school first..
I am in exactly the same position, other than Jim Russell the only school I know of is Panoz, and I have heard very little about it, I have heard it is more geared towards engineering than mechanics, but not sure, there is no info on their sight that I can find. Anyways since we are in the same boat it would be great if we could keep in touch about this, shoot me an email at cmarsh90@hotmail.com.
