Need help Honda people, I am buying one and I need help....
I am buying a 98+ Accord LX Coupe V6. What are the problems I should be informed about? Anything I can improve or fix?
Also, I need to drop that suspension, what springs and shocks should I get for a stiff, sporty, low suspension.(2" drop in the front at least with a little less in the back)
Also, are all sway bars the same? Are some better than others and if they are, please tell me which are the best.
I am looking to put some forced induction into my car. A supercharger or what I prefer, a turbo. I have looked but I haven't seen accord turbos, only civics. I need help finding one that would give me a 100+ hp gain and somewhere around 100+ torque increase as well.
Thanks for all the help and welcome me into the family.

um the v6's imo arent worth it, no one makes a supercharger, and the engine bay isnt big enough to support a good turbo system. Only real solution is spray, plus imo again anything after 5th gen isnt worth it obd-II and III ruin everything and the dam thing is just too heavy, better to do a project hatch hope this helps
Can anyone else help me please? I need my other questions answered, I dont know Hondas well. I am a M3 guy. So can you please help me out.
i don't know if this applies to v6, but 98+ accords have a tendency to have automatic transmissions that give out on them...be sure to have warranty cuz you might have to replace it several times...(yes, the replacements fail too)
not sure about the drop...i'm probably suggest eibach sportlines...they're a really good company...neuspeed tends to be soft or something like that (not in ride but in dampening or something like that)
for sway bars, you usually just need the rear ones...front-wheel drive cars tend to understeer...and if you replace the rear ones, it'll make the steering more neutral. if you replace both the front and rear, you'll keep your understeer. just make sure the sway bar is solid and has a bigger diameter. suspension techniques is a popular brand, although i believe 98+ accord owners prefer eibach sway bars

Are there any good aftermarket transmissions I can stick in there? Or should I just get the V4. I dont really want it, it seems really weak to me with no pick up at all.
Also, its a FWD car?
Furthermore, what size component system can I stick in the doors? I want to upgrade the audio and I want component systems in the front doors? Can any of you tell me about that?

First of all.. its not a V4 its a |4 which stand for inline four all four cylinders are in a line.
also you may want to try the EX model it is the best model of them all i dunno about the 6th gens (+98) but it the 5th gens only the EX had vtec and that would help your not enough power problems if you dont say damn when vtec hits you should see a
doctor. Also im not sure if the automatic will let your engine rev all the way into vtec as a vtec controller only kicks in at certain rpm's i have a manual and i ride every gear to redline it different for different model vtec hits at different level's.
Also there is a HUGH amount of aftermarket parts for the |4 engine's it will be tremendously easier to find, fit parts for that engine.

Thank you Sabastian. I am sorry, I thought it was a V4, I am not familar with hondas, only European cars. I was wondering where I can find parts for the I4, can you please give me links? I don't want to have a falty transmission and I hate automatics, but I can't live with the little power of the I4, even with the Vtec. Thanks and can anyone answer my audio question stated above?
