how big to go on my gsr? what size is my stock one? sorry, been out of the game for a while, just getting back into things. my setup is b18c1 skunk 2 intake manifold, rsr header, p28 ecu with mugen prog, intake and exhaust. also i have itr cams laying around, waiting to get installed. also wheres a good place in so cal to get my throttle body ported at? thanks.

 

Stock t/b is 58mm. You can go plus 4mm on your stock one. King Motorsports will do this for cheap. This is where I had mine done. Fits up perfectly to my Skunk2 intake manifold.

 

When they ported the stock TB, did they taper?

 

Yes sir. 2mm taper.

If you have the compression, yes, it will benefit a small amount thourghout the RPM range, but not drastically.

But most street application setup tend to react better with a 62mm than some monster 70mm.
