I gotta 94 ex. Before I got the car some assbag was nice enough to break the connector off the tps. I removed it and soldered wires to stubs of the contacts and hooked those to the appropriate wires in the connector. Unfortunately, I was not smart enough to mark the tps's position on the throttle body. I know you set them with a ohm meter but what are the values, which wires do you measure, and how do you do it?

 

use a multimeter or voltomiter or whatever.. but its .5 and idle and 4.5 at wot

So, ignition on, measure the voltage at idle position and then move the tps till it reads .5 volts. Will this make it read correctly at wot?

 

should if your tps isnt fucked. just open the throttle all the way and see what it reads..
