I'm looking into getting these in gun metal, but my question is how durable is the color? im worried about the wheel getting scratched up when i go to get some tires mounted....tell me about your experiences and any tips you can give me...thanks!

 

I had a early set of flat black Slips two years ago. This was before the "fluting" for the spokes for the "Spoon" effect. The paint was scratched on the leg seats and the paint wasn't great. I think the gun metal should be better since it's not a flat color.
