Where can I buy Integra type R DC5 heads from?

Are TSX heads the same?

I looking for the 3-lobe cam heads with cams, does anyone know where to get this at?

TSX heads arnt the same there off of a 2.4 L block. Try ebay. But I havent seen anyone just selling k20a heads.

 

I got one pending... Just waiting to make sure i get it. All it needs is 2 intake valves on number 1 cylinder. I will kep you posted...

 

I've got a 2.4L block.

I was told the the Integra Type R K series engine head is the same as the TSX. The Type R head is for 2.0L block, but still fits like the B-series head fits a B20 block instead of the 1.6 & 1.8L block.

I can't find any of the heads yet for sale. The type R head has a 3-lobe cam I'm hoping the the TSX head is the same way. Let me know if you find anyone that sells the head

Ther K20A (DC5R) head is the same as the K20A2 head (DC5S). Therefore, you can buy one at any Acura dealer.

 

Is there just a difference in the cams then? I was told one head is for a 2-lobe cam and one head is for a 3-lobe head.

Is the K20A2 head on the Type R and TSX?

 

Check the head codes - FWIW, this is hte head code from the k20a2 (Si). Stolen from P1 auto without permission

 

TSX has the 3 lobe, intake/exhaust cam vtec. Id look for a K20A head before looking for that K24A2 head tho.

 

Ok taking offers on this DC5S head. Needs 2 intake valves that i can put in before shipping if the buyer wishes. Will have pics soon...

 

K20A2 is the TypeS motor. K20A3 is the Si motor. The K20A3 head is different than the K20A2 head. It's VTEC mechanism is different. It does onlyhave two lobes.

Can you guys give me the TSX head part number instead

I've already got a 2.4L block so I just need the better head flow characteristics and the TSX head should be perfect.

 

PRB = K20A and A2
RBB = K24 TSX
PNA = K24 CRV,Accord, Element
PNL = K20A3

 

I don't know that the TSX head flows any better than the PRB? Does anyone know?
