What else should I get for my N/A B16??
I have a 90 CRX Si with a B16a.I am not sure what I am going to run with the parts I have now. I am thinking mid 13's. I just figured I would see if there was anything else I should get before I finish putting the motor together and in the car.

ditto- I'm betting you won't be as fast as that. I realize you have a CRX, but it took JUN III and some gutting to get my B16 powered hatch into the 13's, major gutting and we ran 12.9

who told you that!?!?! JUN III cams with some decent tuning netted 33 whp... that's a ton! there's no way Gude crap will give you 50... If it does I'll sell you my car for .25

Well i thank most of you for staying on track with the forum. But my other question is what else should i get for my motor and No i'm not getting a new head. I am keeping my gude package. I just hope it works out. So any other suggestions about what else to do with my motor??

without scrolling down to see what others have mentioned. i would say go with some 12:1 compression pistons and some aftermarket rods. You could also get away with stock CTR pistons oversized .25. Im going to assume that this will be a track only car. Also lexan the windows. Fiberglass front end or if its street the CF hood and/or finders.
Yeah it's a street/strip car. No lexon windows. It is stripped from the front seats back. I am going to get a carbon fiber hood but that will be awial before i have enough money saved up for that. I want to get a J's Racing double vented hood. It will fit since I have an SiR front end conversion. I am going to at least put some 11:1 pistons and some eagle rods with ARP rod bolts in the block. Just not sure how crazy I want to go.

Gude was sorta hot like back in 1999.
They make more power then stock, but not enough to go around claiming what they do on their websites. Gude product have not been proven my anyone worth or on the street,.. its just mainly all hersay and rumors. And everyone will agree with me when I say GUDE's customer service sucks PEROID.
I would honestly try to sell that head package for say..700-800 and get a portflow head with Jun3, TodaC's or the newer EF-1 killer cams. If you think you gain 50 more WHP then you are fooled..sorry but thats the truth. Portflow head with nice cams and you'll definaly feel the difference.
B16 are awesome motors.. don't listen to that dumb-*** and that comment. they are proven motors from day one and all it needs is a little more investment compared to the 1.8 motors.
If I had a B16 I would BORE it out to 85mm and get some at least 11.1cr pistons! you'll feel the differece throught the entire powerband, and it will seriously feel like a differnt motor!
with high compression motor also invest in a good complete cooling system from thermo, head gasket, to radiator ect. they run hotter which is normal. having a B16 make 185whp should be easy(if you have the funds)! making a 210whp B16 is a reall challenge.
my tech guy has a b16 that runs 13's in a hevy *** delsol with 2.2 60ft times
he makes about 210whp & 139tqi think. But he has a jun stroker kit and jun race head package. with CHEAP *** ebay intake and dc 4-1 headers. Now he's thinking about boring it out to 85mm to make it a 2.0 B16a3. Just thought I'd share.
