Default Suspension Question?

Currently have a 98 EK with Type R suspensions. Looking into replacing the shocks front and rear.... Do I reference the R or the EK when buying the shocks?

If you have the type R rear LCAs you will need type R shocks. A civc or integra shock will fit in the front.
