Which Coilovers should i get?
Depends on what your budget is and how much adjustability you are looking for. If you are on a limited budget then you could go w/ the gc's as they are going to offer the best ride quality for a "sleeve over" kit. If your struts are toast then you might want to consider going w/ the tein basic dampner kit which in a essence is a coilover kit w/ new struts. They dont offer any dampening which is okay since not everybody needs or cares for that. The tein ss are virtually the same as the basic kit except it offers 16 way adjustabiliy to cater to what you are looking for. There are other kits on the market which are great also, these are just the kits that I have installed and can vouch for the quality. Take care, Andy

ground controls with tokico illuminas are what im running and i love the ride ...ive also rode in a integra with ground controls woth kyb agx's and the ride was good too ....and when Nopi says ground control for bilstein ...that means that the ground controls are meant to fit or work with just bilstein shocks ...but they make ground controls that work with other types and brands of shocks also ....
I deleted all the random posts with just names.

yea what do you plan on doing alot of ...i say ground controls with agx's or tokicos adjustables are a good setup for a little of both ...i never rode in a integra equiped with bilstein shocks ...also i hear koni shocks are very good too ...so let us know what the plans are for your car are ...
heres what i plan on doing with my car. I want a show car that i drive everday. Its gunna have a bomex kit on it so i want it lowered about an inch or 2. So basically when it comes to shocks i just want it lowered and still have a comfortable ride on the road.
ummmm... do the search that I suggested, narrow your choice down to 3 or 4 and then ask the question again. The secret is to ignore the people who make comments with real experience and the people who are biased toward one particular setup without being able to suggest an alternative.

I would pretty much recommend Tein because I have it... So I would sum that these are the most common available setups for the DC2 3rd Generation Integras... rated from least expensive to expensive as well as worst to best.
- Tein Basics
(Does not come with dampening adjustment levels). Your friend will be better off with a Koni/Ground Control matched setup.
- Tein SS
(Full function of a matched coilover setup with the dampening levels suitable for daily driving).
- Tein HA
(discontinued from the Tein website, but this is more like the bigger brother of the Tein SS...upgraded features include a helper spring, stiffer spring rate, stiffer dampening settings, etc. Usually designed for the DC2-R, if your friend wants it for his DC2, then he must swap out his rear lower control arms for its Type-R counterpart.)
Thats the setup I have...it cost me $950 (no pillowball uppermount which isnt required...only if you want to tear out your chassy, hehehe) for the HAs + $127 for the R LCAs.
Theres also the:
Tein Flex which can accomodate the Tein EDFC electronic dampening control unit...that's stuff for the more serious auto-x'er, track driver. Also costs mucho $$$$
.
I would also recommend the Apex'i N1 World Sports Damper.
If you've got the extra dough, there's JIC Magic, GABs, etc.
What's your budget anyway so I can further help you out?
cheers
