anything that can help me when i'll be doing my custom exhaust

ok just keep in mind that what i research is a sound compromise near the MUGEN sound that is not anoying when not reving the engine but lets the power go through if i need it too .. and i won't use a CAT but may replae it by a resonnator with plugs for O2 sensors.. my car is prelude 97 stock engine

is the mugen design a good design ?

does it flows good ?
i know the sound is perfect though ..

would getting a mugen exact replica or fabricating one be a good idea ??

Well, if your going to spend that much money on a Mugen I would recommend talking to John over at Hi-Tech exhaust. He made a muffler system that has the same concept as Mugen but he actually made his muffler/exhaust and headers.

cause i have a chance on buying a fake mugen like muffler that seems to be of very high quality for really cheap ...i wonder if i should get it ..
then use custom piping for the rest of the exhaust..

is NO CAT a good or a bad idea ?

and how sounds 2 resonnators instead of one? ( one at the palce of the cat and one at the usual place ) would there be any problems with that ?

 

the new dc one is a twin loop design too, and two resonators usually give a lower sound in my opinion, some cat backs come like that to make it street legal and no cat is good for power bad for emissions and very illegal

 

I agree with the man above, no cat definitely gives you more horses. It is also, very illegal, bad for mother earth and you will be smelling stinky gas all day when you drive around.

so ...what other solutions do we have aside from REMOVING the CAT ?
is there any way to increase performance of it ( read flow ) but without getting rid of it's purification work ??

should i get a race CAT ? is it any good ?
