Norcal Bay Area Dyno Day!
A friend from srt-4 forums has set up a Dyno Day at DNR motorsports in Hayward, CA. Anybody is welcome to join, except for AWD vehicles. The price for 3 runs is $40 dollars for 10+ people which we have for sure. The dyno day is scheduled on August 24, Sunday starting at 10AM. Please contact Michael Hsu at mhsu@myfootsmells.com for more information and details. This is an incredible deal for some dyno time and you can work on your own car in between runs.

Please contact Michael at above info. He's the one organizing the dyno day. He just told me about this and I personally have not been to DNR even though it's only 20 minutes away from my house.
Sounds like fun. Anyone been to DSR and DNR with one setup??? I want to know what the difference is between the number outputs on the dyno's.

Yes, I have dyno'd at both(dsr/dnr) and got slightly different readings. Not by much though, 3-4hp difference at peak.

yup. from what I remember, they are the fastest on the street. they wouldn't even run 4 bangers no. they just ran against the v8's.

Like what? Paying 180 an hour for dyno tuning and getting around 35 minutes? Actually thats happed to me and a few others that I've spoken with that have tuned at Dsr. Other than that, he does his job very well.

I had my V-AFC tuned by Lawrence at DSR and it only took about 30 min. He's very efficient, so he doesn't need all that time to extract the potential.

If you are just doing baseline runs than it doesn't really matter too much. But if I'm actually trying to tune my new mods using my old dyno chart as a comparison, then it does matter. Hmmmmm....will they be able to add the A/F for extra cash? Time to mess with the mods isn't really going to do much with out the A/F readings.

oh i meant the same exact dyno not the same type.. just go back to the place u baselined at so you know what you really gained.
