ne1 else have trouble starting there eg?
Anyone else have trouble starting there eg? I have 92 civic si and it start but sometimes it dies right away and won't fire back up untill a couple of minutes. Happens more often when it hot. Hear there a recall on the fuel pump or something. My firends also does the exact smae thing but his is a vx.
I also decidee to put in a new starter but it grinds sometimes??what could that be from not torque the blots enough of something not aligning the start to the fly?

seems to me it is the batt.. u can check the starter by just tapping it with a hammer.. well anywayz i dont think u'll get much help from anyone else.. but click the search botton and arcieved. this was talked about tons of time..
I think you need to replace the main realy. I had the same problem with my hatch, it was even worse when the car had been sitting in the sun for a little while. I think it's a $55 part at honda. Good luck.

dude to me it seems like everyone thinks there cool by telling others to search. its like the first reply in all threads is like that. the truth is this question hasent been coverd tons of times. everytime people have "cant start" threads there usually for different reasons. making each one valid questions. im sure he wouldnt find anything about his exact propblem because there are many variables in y other peoples cars dont start.
just chill out. help the man if u can, if not dont say anything at all. im sure he knows how to search. and its obvious he made a post about it weather he searched or not. he just wants some answers. help him out, no need to be an ***

So you don't like to follow your own advice huh? jfwy...
seriously though "tangb2023" did have a pretty useless post...
How does it seem to be the battary to you? do batteries usually not work then when you try again they do?
and what exactly are you "checking" when you tap the starter with a hammer? Yeah I know if it's bad you can trick it into starting with a hammer but that's not exactly "checking the starter".
I have 2 suggestions for you...
either try leaving your key in the "on" position till the fuel pump is primed (you should be able to hear it once the key is all the way on but not pushed to engage the starter) then start it...
other one would be try relieving the pressure in the system by unscrewing the gas cap then try to start it like mentioned above (giving the pump time to prime)...
If I jump in my car and try to crank it in the winter it does NOTHING no matter how many times you try or crank it... then you leave the power on till the pump stops and it starts like it was brand new....
here's a thread discussing this odd phenomanon....

A recall on an 11 year old part? lol!
Last year, my ignition relay switch was replaced. Last week I got a new starter motor. I wasn't thrilled about doing it, but my car is almost 10 and has mega miles on her (see sig). *shrug*

My buddy got his ecu replaced by VW on a 90 gti a couple of months ago....
A recall is a recall if the owner before you never got it replaced you can... generally open recalls (ones which they announce) are un-limited.

first of all i was trying to help. **** happened to me once after i started and the second time it did'nt.. found out there was not enough amps. season why i SUGGESTED search was because lots of people viewed already and no one responded. the starter could be siezed up, plus he mentioned replacing his starter (NONOV) READ FIRST cause telling people to buy **** they don't need, is usless like ur topic. happened to me once also. plus if u wanna get techinical u can also tap a power wire to the solinoid. if this were to be his problem then it would be a cheap fix. what if it was not his relay.. would'nt he waste money for nothing. why dont u tell im to buy a new coil and igniter for a 100 or so while u at it. ur the only one being an *** ,, trying to hate;******.
