well first off you have a 30 day period where you can't post there. You can PM the Mods in the Prelude forum to see if you can post the items for sell. And last PM me with the items you have for sell. I might to buy some from you.

i thought it was 20 days as trial user status. anyway, you can email nick m or corey to approve a for sale thread. although, they may not being that you are a trial user.

The reason we dont allow new members to post ads is so people dont sign up for HT just to sell something, we want people to contribute.

 

personally i think that we should stop accepting new members all together.

 

And why don't you allow to post more than 5 posts a day?

That's probably just another newby statute, unless you continue to act like a moron and they start deducting points and options you have available.

I don't even think they're trolls, they don't clog up good topics with useless posts, they actually create topics on a whim about any little thing that crosses their mind at that moment; to me that's far more annoying.
