The plastic edge/frame that goes around the mirror snapped. Has this happened to anyone else before?

 

i've never seen a Spoon mirror... anyone have a pic?

It should be an easy fix.
I just need to get up my lazy azz.

Yes, the rubber trim is known to deteriorate over time. No big deal. doesn't affect the function (however minor it is) of the mirror.

 

ok, let me tell you what went wrong. you bought the spoon mirror. my point, waste of money.

 

It's just sort of annoying looking out the passenger side mirror and seeing this piece dangling down.

Ukyo- I'm going try to fix it with some Crazy Glue, fill the gap with some black silicone and smooth it out & clean up the edges with a razor blade.

 

(no $h!t.... which is why this thread is titled "POS Spoon Mirrors")
