What springs can give you 3inch drop?(searched)
how about some coil-overs such as gc or skunks, etc. i'm sure they'll be able to go down as far as 3in, but don't expect your stock struts (or any struts for that matter) to last very long with a 3 inch drop though.

I currently run Sprints on my EJ8, and the first part is true while the second part isn't. I used them on stock shocks, and the ride was exactly like stock. I now use them with Koni Yellows, and the ride is still comfortable but slightly stiffer than stock (well, because they're better dampened with the Konis). Turn up the stiffness, though, and the handling isn't too bad. Performance oriented they are NOT, though! Their progressive-rated design is meant more for comfort.

It is possible or actually you can get close to that drop
with
H&R Race Springs and Koni Yellows ---> Set the front perch to the middle and the rear to the lowest setting and voila...A close three inch drop...
Or if you prefer the cheaper way..
H&R Race, remove the bumpstop and install...That should drop your car very low around 2.75 front and rear...but this will blow shocks quicker

I really dont see how removing the bumpstops will do anything to ride height that sounds so retarded to me when your car is sitting it is NOT on the bumpstops...but I have h&r sports on agx's and my car is pretty low so the race should be more than enough for him
H&R or Nuespeed race springs with Nuespeed Koni yellows. Set the perch on the lowest setting i'm sure it's close if not more then a 3in drop. I hace the nuespeed race and neuspeed konis but i've never put the perch on the lowest setting. I'll sell you my setup if you want it.
i went with H&R race springs off an 88-91civic/crx. about the same spring rate anyhow. gives you about 3inches without coilovers and runs pretty nice. stock shocks. mines a 94 cx. heres a pic.
I was using shitty AT coilovers i got at http://www.dragracing.com Id say it was more than 3" in the front, and back was all the way down to. I was tucking all top tire on 195/50/15s
You could always find a spring that lowers your car 2.0 inches and then get the Koni Yellow shocks where are alway height adjustable too, which would give you that extra inch.
