you've got an obd2 also... i had some problems with my fuel curve b/c my o2 sensors were sending the same readings and my ecu tried to compensate for this.... i've got mine off right now.... had to get my car inspected... decided to just save my money and get a random technologies high flow cat instead of playing with the picky obd2 any longer. good luck. let me know if you find a cheap place to get a high flow cat! thanks!

Hey guys,

Main727 got the High FLow cat from us and it is a Carsound Cat.

No such thing as OBD III. . .

Cool, is that the Carsound cat coming as a part of the header group buy? The thing looks so small! I spoke with Mike at IPS yesterday and got my UPS tracking #. Mine is scheduled for delivery today. I'm hoping that I get my header delivered from Jet Hot later this week or early next. If anyone is interested, I've decided to go with the 2.5" madrel bent SS catback exhaust system built and sold by Dave as SMS Products. He and I are working out the particulars to make sure it'll fit my sedan 'cause it's made for the hatchback. Trey, I've got Randy all lined up to do the install of the header and the exhaust system. I'll need his welding equipment again because Dave's exhaust system comes in sections and needs to fitted together and then welded. I'll be cutting the stock exhaust tip off my GSR and will put that on the new system to keep that non-flashy, sleeper look. I can't wait!

I have a 00 GSR engine in my 93 civ hb. I was wondering if they made a cat that would fit my car? If not, how much is one of those cats? I might just get one and take it to a muffler shop to get it extended.

actually, the rsx and new civic have obd3... no 2000 or 2001 cars had it though, to the best of my knowledge.

There are 3 models available the one above is for 94-99 GSR and JDM ITR
For the 93 HB with 00 GSR Engine, are you using a JDM style header (Spoon JDM ITR Mugen?) If so I believe its the ITR Length which fits it. which is a bit longer than the one above.

I am using the stock header that came with the engine, which is why I am having a hard time trying to find a cat that would fit. I'm still saving up for a JDM ITR header(which costs a ton). That won't be for a couple more months. I need a cat though, I'm sick of stinky gas and loud exhaust.
Q. The JDM ITR header has a 2.5" collector on it right?
My tanabe racing medallion is 2.25" piping.
Q. If I were to get the JDM ITR header, I would need a cat with a 2.5" collector on one side and a 2.25" collector on the other side?
