Default R748 is now wingless.

What does an hour of bordom and some dental floss give you?

*update* getting the dent pulled by dent wizards for 300 bucks. the market is paying for damages so good thing. i'll show you guys pics friday of hopefully my car + CF HOOD!

YB:
How hard was it to take off the wing? Can you put the wing back on if you want?

All in all, looks good.

hey chris, wing was a freakin biatch to take off, well only the part when the dental floss cut into my skin. once you get one side off you can lift vertically little by little and it will undo the doublesided tape on the other side, this is when you have already loosened both sides with some dental floss. thanks for the compliment. hope to see you at the auto x this weekend. laters.

Now you need some little round yellow stickers to cover the holes!

speaking of that, does anyone know where i could get some plugs or something. it doesn't really bother me having them there, i dont plan on patching them because i might want to put the wing back on. i remember someone saying any automotive store would carry plugs. let me know guys. thanks.

Maybe it is just me, but I hate to see an R without the wing. Ugly - but that is just my opinion.

I must admit I'm not too fond of a wingless PY R, but I can't wait to remove it from my NBP! I saw it pretty recently on Eric's (NAB20C5) CW "Special Edition", and I must say...sleeper in effect

No, it doesn't look right without the wing to me either...

Looks super clean!!! With the addition of a CF hood, it'll look even better. Good choice
I'm convinced the wing is just pointless, just cuz it doesn't have an LED doesn't necessarily make it functional.

Wingless looks great! You can find some plugs at Lowes.
