Default b18c1 stock bottom end bad with stage 2 cams ?

I am almost finished putting back together my engine.

Its a b18c1 with skunk2 stage 2 cams, skunk2 intake mani, and ctr n1 crank pulley.
Also, short ram, and a JDM ITR 4-1 header with 2.5" cat. Dunk exhaust

Am I making a mistake and going to put out worse numbers than if I had jdm itr pistons in my block ?

Will stage 1s put down better numbers than me ?

if u wanna keep bottom end stock with stage 2 cams, mill ur head and maybe go with a 2layer headgasket to raise ur compression, it will work but im guessing u wont be taking full advantage of the cam in which case u just just stick with stage 1 type cam

yeah, i know I am not using the cams to their potential, however I just wanted to make sure I am not going in the opposite direction. As long as I can see numbers just as good as stage 1s I am fine. I am going to do the bottom end next summer.

would the jdm itr pistons bump up the compression enough to take advantage of those stage 2's?
