My Thermal 3" "warbles" all of a sudden
I've had the thermal 3" exhaust on my car for the past 1.5 years, and for the most part I've learned to live with the resonating sound. But recently, I've noticed an annoying "warble" coming from the exhaust tip. It's not the usual drone with occasional sputters. The thing "warbles" now, and the sound definitely comes out the tailpipe. In addition to the warbling sound, vtec is downright obnoxious - it almost sounds like I have a big leak at the header.
The funny thing is I can't find any leaks, so I'm wondering if something inside the muffler is loose or out of whack. I had the inverted "silencer" cone welded in at the factory. I wonder if that is no longer functioning. Anybody know why my exhaust is making strange noises all of a sudden?

Sorry man I have no idea about the sound. I also have a thermal 3" catback. How did you get a silencer? My exhaust is so loud I hate it sometimes.
Thermal will weld an inverted cone inside the muffler that's supposed to quiet it down a bit. That's the option I went with.
