hey whats up, I read your post, well I just got done putting in my LS suspension on the rear, My sol came with drums so by putting the ls suspension of course ur converting it to rotors, duh anywayz start off buy going 2 the junk yard, now the junk yard i went 2 let me take the suspension off my self, if ur local junk yard does not allow you to do so, then when you get your suspension make sure you tell them, that you want the full rear LS or GSR suspension, with LOWER CONTROL ARM, if you take your lower control arm off with out breaking any heads on the bolts then dont worry about the control arms, but i would suggest just use full LS/GSR suspesnion and make sure to tell them that you need!!!! the brake lines with that 2, other then that you are good, every thing botl up very easy and is an easy task or job to do, Oh yea before i rap this up you are going to need del sol rear disc E-Brake wires nd your done, GOOD luck man

Make sure for the rear you get e-brake cables from a disk brake equipped Del Sol. I do believe that the cable is different lengths and I'm positive it meets the e-brake differently on Del Sols than Integras. Other wise it is a straight forward swap.

By the whole rear suspension I believe the previous poster is trying to say to pick up the whole trailing arm/spindle/lca. This makes the swap much easier. Good Luck!

Yes the fronts should be a direct swap.

i think you should make sure your fronts are different first, i think the del sol uses the ex/si front brakes which are the same as the non-itr integra, i might be wrong.

you should plan on replacing the brake pads and lines too, chances are they are fucked from sitting in junk yard.

i did a full GSR swap into my CX, now im not 100% sure its the same as a Del Sol, but i think it is, so anyways what i learned was that it was a direct drop in, the only problem was that u need 14" rims/steelies or bigger. I also hope ur getting all the brake lines and MC/BB done aswell.

anyways good luck and keep us informed

my Civic is non ABS, the ABS factor is all about ur Master Cylinder/Brake Booser, if you have ABS go with GSR, if not ur gonna need a RS MC/BB, thats what i have. lemme know if u still need info

i did this exact mod about 3 weeks ago. it's really easy to do. it's just a matter of bolting off your old rear suspension and the bolting your integra rear suspension on. but you don't need the whole rear suspension. at the least you're going to need the trailing arm with the rotor and caliper. you're going to need the e-brake cables from a del sol si / vtec. e-brake cabes were $95 for both sides on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com. you're going to need the rubber brake lines from the disc brakes too, but if you want you could upgrade to SS lines at this point.

note - i did this swap for the first time without a manual or anything. real easy to do.

integra front calipers are the nearly exactly the same as ex/si... if you have these on your del sol, i.e. not teacups then it is useless to swap integra calipers on.

why do the integra cailpers(outside of them) not actual caliper look bigge than the civic one? i havent taken off my civic calipers yet to compare them but somewhere i heard that the actual integra caliper is larger than the civic one so therefor you have more surface area...

no you are right but ususally people sell them as a whole, I myself am selling a GSR MC/BB, but the MC is the one that has ABS connections (or doesnt).

hmmmmm......... the ABS is related to the Master Cylinder, like this thread says, u will just need a non-ABS master cylinder, i have that set-up (non-abs GSR brakes).

i got integra calipers for 20 bux, and a 15/16 non abs mc. i have yet to get my hands on a brakebooster. but i also aquired a 4040 proporsion valve. my questions are:

if i were to install the integra calipers/disks/pads would it be best to also install the mc and bb nad hold on the 4040 until i get rear disks

or

should i not install everything till everything is ready

info: i believe my disks are blued or just surface of rotor is in horrible condition. it has small grooves cut into it and i cannot resurface it because its cross drilled, the person before me had not taken care of brakes and i can see rust and small cracing around the crossdrilled holes. pads are 4 onths new but squeal like a pig

anyone know where to get an integra brake booster? non abs

well i dont know about waiting or not, but personally when i do something i like to do it as a full. But to answer ur question of where to buy the booster i would say if u cant find a used one buy it new. Its not that expensive and RS MC/BB is like $125 CND, so thats like $80-85 US.

anyways good luck
