1. I'm pretty sure the H22 tranny has shorter gearing then the H23, therefore it should accelerate faster. Also the H22 was meant to be a "sportier" engine then the H23 so I'm sure Honda engineers gave it the appropriate transmission.
2. From what I've heard a stock p72 does not have a good fuel map for the H22, it is good however if you’re running a management system like hondata so you can tune it properly.
3. What year accord do you have? I know for a 5th gen you use the accord engine harness and linkage and I think you can for 4th gen as well.

1. either is fine the h22a tranny is slightly shorter gearing.
2. p13, the p72 has HUGE midrange lag, i do NOT like it, i switched to a hondata p28 and love it.
3. yes, or else the engine harness wont lug into your car, and accord/prelude shifters/linkages are interchangeable.

1. use the H22. it's best suited for the VTEC up high, although 5th on the freeway is kind of high
2. use the P13, unless you are going with a single runner IM, but then they still have P13s/P5Ps to use that have the proper fuel maps. if you're OBDI, then the Hondata is the way to go.
3. yes and no. yes, you can use it, but you may have to splice in a couple. and yes, use your accord hardware (mounts, linkage, etc.)

"accord/prelude shifters/linkages are interchangeable."

I know that this is the case for the 5th gen accord an the H22, but is this also the case with the 6th gen accord?

thanks a lot

they are all cable shifters and should all work interchangeabley. plus they are all similar sized cars, so the difference is going to be within an inch or two on the cables....plus the 6th gen accord is still pretty much based on a lot of what is in the 4th and 5th gen.
