Default With Same motor/trans, how much slower is 94 GS than a 91 Civic Hatch?

OK, I'm building a LS motor right now...planning on dropping it in my 1991 STD hatch.

Only I might have a good line on a 94 GS 3 dr hatch with a bad transmission for real cheap.

The 1991 Civic Hatch is a base model, so its really light, but also has manual windows/locks, no air conditioning, etc..

The GS has power everything, A/C, and is newer, and nicer looking styling, too.

Just wondering how much the extra weight will hurt me, though, if I went that route. Its an *automatic equipped car* so I'd have to convert to manual..Id assume I'd need pedals, shifter plus linkage, clutch hydraulics..

The motor is B18B, 11:1 comp, street ported head, Crane #12 cams, I/H/E, etc.

Wondering what I'd be looking at timeslip wise for either car.

Thoughts are appreciated!! (I guess I'm looking for someone to talk me into using the Teg..)

Thanks,
Haggar

Auto to manual conversion not worth it IMO.

Keep the hatch.

auto to manual swap is easy as long as you have the needed parts. I did it on my 94 teg.

you will have alot more fun with that motor in a hb , the integra is more luxary
that motor in a hb should run mid to low 14s , that motor in a integra would proably run low 15s maybe a high 14s
