anyone have a write up on installing the screws in the factory supplied mounting points so I can use an upper strutbrace like the GSR's and type R's?

i made my own brackets from steel strips. didnt know they had the factory ****.

installing screws....???? installing a strut brace takes about 5mins.... just jack up the front and thread the two bolts on each side, securing them from the top and holding it from underneith... then repeat on the other side... lower jack and go for a ride

 

what size bolts, did you use, did you secure them so when you uninstall the brace the screws won't fall out, ect

 

Go to Comptech's website and check out their strut bar mounting kits. I think it's about 20 dollars or so. Easy to install, just stick the threads up through the holes on the strut towers and bolt on the bar. Good luck.
