where does everyone find d16a6's ? i'm seeing them selling for 5-600 .. please tell me you can find them cheaper than that. woodfin honda here in richmond is quoting up to $900 for one ... thats crazy.

Thats pricy for an A6. I would go no higher than 3-4 for a motor with under 90k miles. I got a low milage (-40k) JDM D15b from Hmotors for 500 shipped? (dont ask dont tell)

but this is a good place to look for motors. It is hard to find one without high milage on it. Good luck though.

Rebuilt from the dealership? If so, $900 wouldn't be all that bad as it would be fresh, if it's used however tell them to shove it where the sun don't shine. You're probably going to have a tough time finding a low mileage A6 since they are older engines now. Why not try a Z6 or Y8?

 

i want to just stay with the "little guy" a6 .. more of a challenge
