Default Lowering 5th gen

I'm planning on lowering my 95 accord... I want a stiff ride and stiff suspension so that it's almost like a WRX or something like that so that in case i hit a driveway or something a little too fast I won't scrape it that much... What should I get? I'm trying to save money so can I get just coilovers? What's the cheapest yet decently good way to accomplish what I want? Thanx.

just get springs and some new shocks, getting coilovers would be pointless given the type of ride characteristics you're looking for, and springs are good for about a 2" drop, anything more and you're gonna have to be careful. if you wanna go lower just save up for full coilovers (about $800 for the tein basic setup).

if you want a good description of what brands you should get then do a search, the topic has been covered many times.

You shouldget H&R race springs or Neuspeed race. They're real stiff srpings with a nice drop.

I got some H&R sport springs, they ride smooth, but i need something stiffer so ill be upgrading to the H&R race springs myself.

do you plan on putting a kit on your car? With a 2" drop you'll be scraping everywhere...at least in NY you do. I have neuspeed sport...1.5" rear 1.75"front and tokico shocks...they're pretty good. But i just recently put on the TEIN SS and these things are hundred times better. And it's 16 way adjustable. I would save up for coilovers. But if you want i'm selling my neuspeed and tokico. Let me know if you're interested. Email me PMark888@aol.com

neuspeed sports are very nice for daily driving, also don't forget the shocks, they are key and often overlooked for having a tight suspension.

I dropped my 94 wagon 4" and it's fine, you just have to use your head.

I have the Skunk2 coilovers on my 00' accord and love them but also Koni fully adjustable shocks which makes my car handle like a dream. How much are you looking to spend. I can get a set for around $300. Let me know.
