Default Working night shift...thought I would ask a question.

Well, I currently have a B18C1 with I/H/E and skunk2 chipped P72...my question being. Im ordering a B20B tomorrow, and will be using my GSR head and tranny. How many of you would recomend this? I think it will be nicer in my own opinion. I am aware that is what matters. I will be doing the swap regardless of answers...just curious as to what everyone thinks of the B20VTEC over the USDM GSR. Thanks in advance.

No problemo. I regret not taking pictures of the GSR swap. Oh well.

i think the gs-r head will be better on a B20 block than an Si/ITR head would be. will the header still clear? isn't the B20 block taller?

make sure you run the oil line, and plug off the orifice on the bottom of the head. good luck

i believe it was a 3cm difference according to my friend who has a b20VTEC...just have to get the head redrilled. That isn't a big deal though.

Yeah, night shift mang . I love getting off work when the sun first comes up . Oh yeah, and for the b20vtec just build it right the first time and you should have no problems.

my boy has a b20b with a vtec head in his 93 cx hatch...he has the new V2 intake...type R cams, headers, full exhaust, pistons, port n polished head...and i think thats it, and lets just say he skips on Evo's on the highway, everyone swears he is juicing, and since i live in N.Y. we do the street racing thing out here...he does have the fastest all motor hatch in the scene

he put out 202whp & 152wtq. good #'s considering the weight of the car.

btw it was worked with a b16 head

b16a head and the ITR head are better than the GSR head on a b20...what would make you say that the GSR is better??
