Ok so my day starts off by waking up at 1 in the afternoon. I go take a shower and get ready for the day. I suddenly get a craving for McDonalds so I decide to go to the bank first and deposit some cash I had lying around. I then proceed to get food at McDonalds. I pull up and park my car in plain veiw right out side of the window. I go inside and order two hot and spicey chickens and a medium french fry. (only $3.98) I sit down and start eating my food with my car maybe 15 feet from my view. All of a sudden I see these two kids come up to my car. I thought they were just checking it out or something. Then I see one bend over while the other one is watching and proceeds to take off my valve cover caps on my wheels. I just sit there kind of chuckling to my self like WTF are they doing. For some reason I just sit there to see what else they would do. Well 45 seconds go by and they are on the last wheel. That is when I stand up and walk towards the door still watching them. Then i see one take out a peice of gum from his mouth and spread it along my rear quater panel now I am completly inraged. As they start to walk away the kid who was mainly watching kicks my door. (keep in mind i just got my car repainted/shaved everything no more then 3 weeks ago). I then open the door and yell at them as they are waliking away WHAT THE F**K are you doing. They stop and are stunned one of the kids mummbles what are you talking about. I told them I had been watching them the hole time. ( I am in there faces right now and they are maybe 15 years old) I could tell they weren't old enoguh to drive yet. I stared going off on them and calling them retarded and told them I'm calling the cops. I take out my cell phone and start dialing when one of the kids starts to cry. I said WTF are you crying about you deserve this you lucky I don't beat your *** right now. He is like no don't call the cops talk to my mom she is in Fry's shopping for food. (fry's is a couple sotres down) I say fair enough and we proceed to walk there. As we are walking one of kids says can we just forget this ever happened and I just started laughing. I'm like I just got a brand new paint job/body work and now there is a good size dent in it and gum spread along it. We confront the kids mom and I explain what happened as the two kids sit there with there heads facing the ground. She appoligises to me and thanks me for not calling the cops b/c she explained how here boy was already on probation for other reasons. I talk to her for a bit about the situation and she then asks me to walk to her car with her. We walk out to her brand new porshe SUV (turbo) She kept appoligizing and then she ended up writing me a check for $700 to cover the cost. I was shocked and told her I didn't need that much but she insisted. I then leave and head back to my car. I begin scraping the gum off and just looking at the dent. I go deposit her check and go home. I was glad I caught these stupid punks maybe this will be a lesson to the two of them to stay out of toruble. The way I look at it, I just stopped to potential car theifs for the future.

Cliff notes: two kids stole wheel caps off my car, spread gum on it, and kicked it. I confornted them and threatend to call the cops. Instead there mom was shopping nearby. Talked her and she gave me $700. Went home satisfied.

 

thats awesome it will at most cost u $100 to get ur car normal again, so u made $600

 

Although she drove the new Cayenne, is the check valid?

That's exactly what I was thinking, hopefully it goes through.

 

The check was from wells fargo and had her name and other info printed on top of it. Plus my account is with wells fargo so there shouldn't be a problem. I sure hope not at least. I will probally find out tommorow.

WOW, what are kids thinking when they do this. I'm a teenanger myself and i couldn never think of doing that. If i did i would of ran, put my track and field skills to use lol. BUT DAMN, if i saw anyone doing that to a car, i woulda ******* knocked them out and wait for the owner and be like look what these stupid kids did to ur car. Yea how did you not snap at them when you saw them put gum and kick your car? But its cool how you got some extra money for your troubles.

the caps being taken off would have sent me out the door, the gum would have pushed me over the edge of sanity into the pool of rage. i would screwed myself over, unlike you. oh wait, im still a minor; their asses would have been beaten the **** out of . to the self-restraint that put you ahead a couple hundred $s. i wouldnt have rejected the high amount though; i would of said something like "this better pay for all repairs" or you could have threatened to still call the cops. yeah, i know; i gotta an evil little mind... but i like it .

I wish I had the luck like you with a mom like that cause I caught kids stealing my valve covers and vandlizing it and I saw them do it along with my g/f and I went to the kids house and the mom was pure trailer and just asked her kid if he did it and he said no, of course and then the mom tells me to F*ck off and leave her kids alone, i was like whatever and just left.

I hope the cheque goes through for you though.
