ITR # 0975 was stolen yesterday
wassup Honda-Tech fans my ITR was stolen on Sunday from Acura the dealership. The car was there to be fixed and on Sat night when Acura closed they parked my car outside right next to a fence and no cars blocking it. So on Sunday night it got stolen, I saw the video that they had. They hopped the gate and broke into my car, The way they got the car out of acura was they cut the gate and drove it threw a hole in the gate. I had the car for 3 months and now its gone.
Sorry guys
ITR REST IN PEACE
p.s. Next car im goin to get is a Evo VIII or a STI
i will let you guys in on the update

I don't think cops here in jersy really care to do anything. I just got back from the police station to give them the serial # to my b18c5 today that was in my CRX that got stolen in nov. 2002 and to this day not a recovery of the CRX or a officer to my case. Left on the the back burner.

This is not a good statement. In New York City area there are much more important things than cars. There are murders, rapes, child abductions, etc. A car can be replaced a life cannot.
My car was stolen, and the police recovered it with very little damage. Cops
I have friends who are police officers. Friends who risk thier lives every day.
Granted not all cops are the greatest of people, but a blanket stereotypical statement is not correct.
PS: Be careful with the street racing in Maine, if cops were doing "their jobs", your new GSR would be taken from you
(I know Charlie, the previous owner of your car.)

sorry i didn't mean to state that cops don;t do there job. yes i do agree there are more important things as you stated. of course without cops the streets would be not safe, but how ever the info and the blow off i get when 10 times i called only once hae some 1 really talked to me without BLOWING ME OFF.
cops are all dependant on the city your in.. I've had some very nice cops.. and then I've also had a cop inpound my car saying I had a suspended license wen he ran my name wrong supposedly. So a lot depends what city your in and what not.
I had a car that was hit in the parking lot at my work, The vandals then proceded to break out my windows and take all my stuff.
So i got to work the next day and there was a little blue fiesta hanging out the driver door of my prelude.
The cops took the car and told me they didnt have any information to do an investigation on.
I appreciate the work cops do, however i wouldnt RELY on them to protect or serve. Hence the .45 auto with me at all times.
My experience is that Cops are like all other workers. They are lazy and dont really care about thier jobs. They are under paid and under respected, however it was thier choice to be in that field so i cant say i feel sorry for them.
I just wish they would give me thier powers so i could fix these problems myself

don't worry they'll get their pay back, and they will get it hard! (x10's worse.)
I hope bigg bubba in jail gives them a visit or two in their crack

I'm so sorry to hear this. But I'd be a little suspicious of the dealership itself. I am having an extremely difficult time accepting the fact that the people at the dealership had the idea that a Type R would be safe just out on the lot overnight. The whole scenerio seems very sketchy. Maybe the cops are bright enough to recognize that there may be some possible leads at the dealership.
What's to stop some schmuck oil change boy at the dealership to tip off a few of his homothug friends that there's a nice ITR for the pickings on the lot. Just giving some advice.
Good luck with your future endeavors. The EVO VIII would be a nice upgrade.

Sorry to hear about this. I must say, some of these dealerships are beyond STUPID. To not park your car in a fenced area or inside the shop is an invitation for theft. If I were you, I'd be livid with the dealership. It was THEIR RESPONSIBILITY to keep your car SAFE. I would not let them get away with this.
I wouldn't doubt if some of the workers left your car outside INTENTIONALY.
