I'm having quite the dilema. I'm not sure really what path I wanna take with my 99 LS. These are my options. Turbo , drag kit. (3300+500 install), Bodykit (600+1000 Install) , Rims (1200) , or Stereo\Interior(600-1500)....or I could wait 4 years til I'm out of college,save all the money I make on summers and what not and buy a supra when I get out of college and sell my car with it.....

 

No matter what you do to your car, never be in a rush to do it. Impulse buys are what many people regret greatly. Before you spend a large chunk of your change be completely sure of which way is best for you. Don't let anyone else tell you how to spend your money. Personally, I would keep a good chunk of my cash for a rainy day and then with the remaining portion I would get a nice streetable suspension setup and maybe a bolt-on or two.

He's right. If anything, get a set of good shocks, a set of good brake pads, make your own K&N drop-in for $45, and get a set of cheap wheels (I like my Koseis too) and some Kumhos. Then, go to the autocrosses and learn to drive the thing. More fun, less money. Good track schools are <$350. Personal experience recommendation: the $850 a year I spend EXTRA on my insurance on that car because of two tickets could have bought me a CRVTEC motor by now--take it easy and don't wad it up.

...That, and if it's got leather, get a four-point harness for auto-x. Just trust me, whacking your helmet on the windowframe is no fun
