ok i just wanted to make sure that the sohc zc isn't any different than the d16a6 besides the cam? is that right?

also if i'm throwing it on a d16z6 block (i have no need for the vtec) would that raise the compression at all or will it remain the same?

 

my friend has a sohc zc that was originally carbuerated, the fuel injection bolted right up. ive heard that those have larger intake valves, possibly more hp?

 

wilder cam, head flows about 30% more than the d16a6, and some say it has higher compression.

 

Yes it will bolt to the z6 block, and has slightly higher comp. than a a6 head....youll probably need to run 93 octane and advance the timing(ignition.)
