I got bored.. so i painted my VX wheels!
I was bored at work yesterday and i saw my 13" VX wheels that had been sitting there for months. so i decided to dismount the tires and take them home to paint! I went to home depot and bought 2 cans of automotive primer, 2 cans of paint, 2 cans of clearcoat, and a can of aircraft paint remover. Yesterday i had the paint off and the rims primered, today i started applying more primer and finally the paint. Here's how they look so far painted (not yet clearcoated).
What do you think?

yesterday while i was waiting for a coat of primer to dry i put some of that paint stripper on the toy car so it was bare metal, then today i painted it to see what the paint would look like. You don't wanna see it... overspray owns it

i know
, these are the wheels that came on my VX, and i have 2 OTHER sets so i didn't care if i messed these up but i'm surprised how good they came out. Unfortunately though these wont be on the car till winter due to the fact that my VX wheels are getting snow tires for the winter.
that, and my car still isn't running correctly

if you put clearcoat on i hope they dont end up like my friends did, they looked foggy because the paint he had wasnt meant for clearcoat to be put on overtop were guessing
