Alignment after lowering with TEIN S-Tech springs?
Don't necessarily know if its needed but after my install I didn't get one. Of course 6 months later I've switched to their coilovers I can't commnent on the long term effects. But during the time I had them, I didn't notice any problems other than the inside of my tires wearing away!!
it's always a good idea to get an alignment after removing/re-installing any suspension pieces. after installing my konis and GCs, my toe was out a lot in the rear.

You should always get an alignment after futzing with the suspension. Mine was *way* out of spec after I installed a new set of shocks and springs. I had it aligned to factory specs about a month before so I know that the swap caused the misalignment. There is nothing that you can do about camber, but your toe could be way off.

Back from the dead, I'm installing some H&R sports today (they'll only be on for a few months) anyone think I can cheap out and NOT get an alignment??? Competent shops are super difficult to come by in my area and it's a total PITA to track one down
You can always do your own alignment: https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-integra-type-r-8/diy-r-alignment-quick-method-2631081/
The R is double-wishbone, so just lowering the car won't throw it off that much--unlike a strut car that can be severely out when you even breathe on the springs.
But still, if it were my daily I'd get a alignment anyways. if a weekend car, probably don't bother.
Or, go to one of the places that offer lifetime alignments. It is only like $50 more and it'll pay for itself in the long run. Just make sure they can handle lowered cars, though.

Well you should ! Tires are not cheap to replace , if out of spec fast tire wear will occur !Camber kits are not necessary, but imho they are great to align camber back to spec !
diggin into this project right now one thing I can't seem to find is how much I should torque the OEM top hats after installing the H&R's (when the assembly is off the car)
I know its kind of a noobish question, but I've never attacked a suspension install before
