Default scrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeechhh noise

about like a week after the swap was complete (b16a2 into eg hatch).. every now and then, usually if my car sits there for awhile and sometimes even when it doesnt,,, right when i start it goes SCREEEECHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH for like 10 seconds then goes away... not sure if it is a belt doing that or anything... i changed the belts and junk.. and when i look at them they dont have any liquid or anything and they arent rubbing against anything... any ideas guys? ill try to pinpoint it a little better, i just have to get someone to look under my hood one time when it does happen

If you want to see if it's a belt, just have a buddyof yours start it, while you look at the engine belts, looking for one that isn't moving...then its slipping...
Most likely alternator belt.
If the belt isn't spinning, then look at the alt pulley, is it moving when this screeching noise is happening??
I would guess alt belt...check it...
Also, if they were new belts, you have to readjust them after a while cuz they will stretch out a little.

Tighten your alternator belt or if you have PS, tighten that as well.

sounds like a loose belt. Either power steering or AC belt.
