Anyone here rev over 8500rpm on his/her LSVTEC?
My friend went up to 9k and blows his valve train, but his stock bottom end is fine. I've heard of people went up to 10k without a deckplate.
Still waiting for my stuff to come back from the machine shop. Should be a fun motor, CTR pistons and GSR head.

hmmm, with a stock head? If so, you're just asking for trouble. I think an LS/VTEC really has to be built well to accommodate such high revs...

Stock head isn't the problem, it's the R/S ratio.
