When you install the kit just be sure to tighten the bolts for the tensioner. You will know what I mean when you get that far. The last one I replace cost me almost 150 for nothing more than a teflon coated caster. If you need any extra parts for the kit let me know cause I took my charger off.

Total pain in the ***. Make sure you have ALL the right tools...good tools can be a big help.

If you havent already, get the Hondata IM gasket. Its worth it. Be careful when youre getting off the remnants of the old gasket to not chip the head, but get off a good amount.

Take your time and make sure youre doing everything step by step...use as many internet guides (cspeed, holden, etc) to help you along the way as well. The Jackson instructions are OK, but theyre not great...use common sense along with them, dont follow them blindly. If you have any q's, you can call Keith @ JR during their hours for a condescending, angry, bitter answer to your question

One more very important thing. Spend 15 dollars and buy a new fuel filter for the car.

Thanks for all the great input, guys... I plan on using the c-speed instructions along w/ the JR instructions and hopefully I won't run into TOO many problems... I have recently installed a Walbro 255 hp fuel pump and I believe it came with a new fuel filter... I'm guessing that's the filter silverware is talking about? I have a helms book that I'm also going to be using to help in taking off the intake manifold...

One thing that does bother me is that I bought the JRSC kit used and haven't done this install before... having bought the kit used, I worry that I won't have all the correct bolts or nuts that I will need for the job-- nothing is labeled, so I hope I don't run into any trouble with that...

Your thoughts?

the fuel filter I was talking about is on the fire wall. It is a cylinder looking object that your fuel pressure guage screws into. Moss performance sells all the components of the kit seperatly. If they do not have it let me know and I probably have it lying around. My kit got damaged in shipping so it is junk.

The kit probably isnt complete...you can go to jacksons site and on the last page of the instructions is a complete parts list. I would check to make sure you have all the components there. I guarantee youre probably at least missing some bolts/nuts and hoses/clamps. Youll prob need to make a few trips to home depot/pep boys during the install. As long as you have all the major brackets and custom JR kit bolts, you should be ok in terms of ordering things.
