Default HCP ek-h22a mounts (pics for what was my problems)

first pics is two pin's one supplied by HCP.. which was too short by 1/4 inch, and mine "refab" in stainless to proper lenght, also the next pic you can clearly see that the HCP one was cut slanted. and the edges were rounded off on a grinder... which didn't help when my motor wasn't aligning right in the bay... and on top of that the mount that bolts to it was drilled way to far to the right and i was having a colision with my valve cover to shock tower, so i had to grind some away. now i have some clearances to play with.

the pin you see is the pin that goes inside the mount on the tranny side.

so it's not a true bolt on kit, also no pic here.. i had to extend the studs that hcp tack welds to the tranny because those who were welded were 3/8th thick, i had to extend them to almost 7/8th's because the tranny wasn't clearing the frame rail...

and on top of that, the bottom tranny mount lower swivel, had to cut and machined because where the mount swivesl, the lower part would hit the vertical part which would have caused vibrations and "clacking" when the motor rocked....

far from being a bolt in kit.. but a good kit after it's all done... i'm just not a fan of the oilplan clearances .. about 3 inchs after installed with a 2 inch drop but the motor has like 2 - 3 inches from the hood.... they should have raised it some...
